Public records

Directory Policy

The Directory is the public verification layer of The Sciences. It makes approved records searchable by name, category, country, status and credential ID.

Purpose

Searchable trust

Directory records help users confirm whether a product, institution, expert, program or partner is listed and what the listing means.

Fields

Record metadata

Records may show entry type, country or region, verification status, credential ID, expiry date, scope and website.

Status

Clear status language

Status labels should distinguish verified, listed, pending, expired, suspended, withdrawn or archived records.

Renewal and correction

Records should be updated when evidence changes, claims change, expiry arrives, ownership changes or correction requests are validated.

Directory limits

A directory listing is not a government license, medical approval, legal guarantee or universal endorsement.

Operational note

This page is part of The Sciences trust architecture. It is intentionally editable in the WordPress page editor so operators can update language, forms, links and policies without editing PHP theme files.
